All girls hate this; PMS

Yeap, you've seen the title of this blog post. It's gonna be about PMS. Freaking premenstrual syndrome. If you're so immature or childish that you might just freak out or feel gross reading about the shit girls experience every single month, then just look at this happy dancing bear in the big blue house, laugh at its retarded-ness and then close this window.

I'm feeling extremely angst today because of PMS and I needed somewhere to rant and I thought blogging about it would be good. I think this message not only goes out to the guys, but also to girls who don't know why they are experiencing terrible mood swings. I don't know how many people are gonna read this, maybe none (Haha I'm so pathetic -.-), but I hope this helps someone out there.

Firstly, PMS is not something that we can control. Our bodies are just unhappy that we are not pregnant when it thinks that we are, and decides to play with our hormones, mainly the progesterone, which causes our PMS. Stop telling us that we, girls, are using PMS as an excuse to snap in your faces because sometimes, even we don't know why we are feeling like crap.

Just look at the change in the level of progesterone (the green line). It rises like crazy within one week, and drops like crazy within one week. Our hormone level change like mad, of course we will feel like mad too right? I've researched on how the level of progesterone can affect one's behaviour, and here's what I found.

The fall in the level of progesterone will cause people to be frustrated, anxious (which leads to the body overreacting, causing headaches and bloatedness), and depression (which means sad for mild cases).

It's true that sometimes, we can control our emotions, but don't expect us to not flare or cry when you continually disturb us. You really deserve it. It's like knowing a rubber band is going to snap, and you still stretch it right infront of your face, you should totally Christ Brown yourself man.

Just do this to yourself alright?

 At times, I wish people would know that I'm PMS-ing without me telling them. If only there things that we can wear to show that we are in a bad mood.

Okay, maybe the shirt is a little too much. BUT IF ANYONE EVER MAKES THIS SHIRT, TELL ME. I'LL DEFINITELY GET IT. I actually think a wristband might work better. There was such thing called the sex bands, why not create something called the PMS band?

Instead of using colourful bands, just use BLOOD RED BANDS and people will know that you're PMS-ing and not bother you. Sound like a good idea?

There, I just did it with paint because I'm so lazy to edit it properly.

As I said, PMS really suck. I started blogging feeling super depressed-ish, but now I'm just happy. I guess it's alright to let your feelings out when you're PMS-ing, but in a proper way. It's only normal to have feelings because we are human beings.

Sad - Listen to more sad music and cry it out.
Angry - Get a stress ball and squeeze it; Go to the beach to scream at imaginary idiots on the sea; Rant to someone or write it all out (like what I just did)
Anxious - Eat some chocolates (dark ones won't make you as fat as normal chocolates) and go sleep and make the world a peaceful place for everyone else.
Don't-know-what-you're-exactly-feeling - Eat a tub of icecream, grow fat and exercise the next day.

Guys, if you wanna be nice, get chocolates/ice cream or something sweet for girls when you know they're PMS-ing. It'll make their day better. You could prolly write a short note and attach it to the little gift. If they're in a good mood, they'll thank you later in the day; if they're in a bad mood, at least you tried?

Here's a picture of a super cute animal which has a natural smiley face that my sister sent it to me to end off this blog post;

Yep, and that's what I wished it was when I wokeup but... In actual fact,

I wokeup being sick (I think it was a headache) and I wasn't able to go down to NASS Band prac. Sorry to disappoint you sissy! ): We were supposed to go shopping with mum but since sissy had band, I was so bored, aaaandddddd..

I fell back asleep after waking up for about 2 to 3 hours ;

Anyway, thanks everyone for all the birthday calls, texts, tweets, whatsapp messages and facebook posts. Sorry that I didn't reply everyone but I really appreciate it, really!

Even though sometimes I wonder if people on Facebook are sincerely wishing me, or just for the sake of it. It's so easy to wish someone happy birthday now. Just have to open Facebook, check the panel on the right hand side, click on 'Today's Birthdays', type 'Happy Birthday!' and *Enter*. Maybe next year I'll remove my birthday from Facebook, and see how many people really remember my birthday. Then I'll be a lonely kid when no one wishes me :/

Treated my family to dinner at BRIO's buffet @ Grand Copthorne Waterfront, and spent $200++++ The dinner was so-so and because it was a weekday, there wasn't the outdoor satay/bbq counter. There wasn't durian puree and snow crabs too sighpie. But the company was good so I was satisfied ^^

Our dessert plate created by sissy & I

Fav person in my life (L)

Celebrated my early birthday with my favourite people. Wanted to have Little Pancakes @ Upp Thomson Rd but it was fully occupied dammit. Walked down to U.D.D.E.R.S instead for dinner. Pea and I shared

Bacon iz gooooood and the hotdog is nice too!! The butter has herbs so it smells so good ^^

Headed down to Neli's after dinner for ice cream. Loved the ribena flavoured one. It has drunken vodka gummy bears in it heehee. & the butterscotch nuts had whiskey in it mmmmm {: These darlings wanted to surprise me with a birthday cake but they didn't have lighter so they had to ask me for mine HAHA. But I still love you guys (L)

Just applied for University this week when the rest of the people I know are already getting their calls for interviews and acceptance letters for their courses like OMG. With a grade S for GP, everywhere also won't be able to get in *pessimistic me is pessimistic* Even a friend of mine who got a D for GP also have to go through an English test requested by SMU.

Applied for SMU, NTU and NUS. Surprisingly, I applied for all 3 schools when I thought I would only apply for SMU.

Business Mng and Info System Mng for SMU;
Biz and Comm Studies for SMU;
FASS, Proj and Facil Mng and Biz Admin for NUS.

BBC/ads is my grade, but even the easiest one to get in which is ISM in SMU and it's cutoff point for last year was BCC/C if I'm not wrong. How lah how you tell me?? Everyday I'm crying in my heart, feeling so frustrated. These few days PMS-ing, making things worse. Please please please, I will take ANY test and interviews just to get into these courses. Gonna just pray and hope God opens up doors for me.

Went shopping with my Princesses from church on Saturday to Somerset. Because I ended work at 11, had lunch and walked down from ShangriLa. It took me about 1 hour and I reached 313 at 1ish. But the girls only came at about 3 so I just sat at B2 like a hobo, reading my storybook. Wanted to eat Coldstone but the queue was FREAKING LONG. Gave up and went up to MIYOC because they had sales but didn't buy anything from there. Headed down to Scape and I bought 2 high waist shorts (like finally) for $14 each. One was gold and the other was white ^^ Got a turquoise dress for 5bucks but I CAN'T FREAKING WEAR IT URGH. #bigboobsproblem

And the princesses surprised me on Sunday with twelve cupcakes right before FFW when I was figuring out chords for a song. Seriously got a shock and I was very touched. Thank you very very very much la girls. Really thank God for giving me these 3 girls to walk with me through my spiritual journey. Hope we grow old together and our kids will celebrate their birthdays together okay (':

Hi guys! My last update was about a month ago! :O Didn't really have time/mood to update since I've started work. Every time I have an off day, I'll either spend it sleeping or stoning in front of the laptop or in church. So I guess this update will be about my work, CNY and my next phase of life. Oh and I've tried potato facial and it's really really good!!

I've gotten a 3-month job at ShangriLa Singapore as a lobby ambassador. My job scope is just to press the lift button and entertain guests while waiting for the lift. But this job scope only lasted for a week, and the girls and I had to do everything else, including helping the guest carry and/or store their lugguages, giving directions around Singapore, teaching them how to take the MRT, calling in-house guests for their friends etcetc. One night, there were so many arrivals, I ended up 'escorting' guests in from the hotel entrance to the reception to register for check ins. But on the bright side, I really love this job (except when I've got nothing to do) because I love love love people. This just made me confirm that I really don't like office jobs. In addition, we've got really cute uniforms! Love the hats ^^

Couldn't scan the polaroids we took before Theresa left because there's something wrong with my scanner/laptop. I don't know which one :/

Chinese New Year

Didn't spam pictures like last year because I had to spend half my CNY working. Sigh service line. But the good thing was that I received >$100 of angbao money from there alone (Y) Ironically, this angmoh lady gave me $10 because she knew that we were celebrating CNY. She's so cool la. My cat's so beautiful, yet looking so dumb at the same time. She failed in getting her food out of the angbao we gave her sigh what a bimbo.

Got back my results on 1 Mar, Friday. I really didn't know how I was supposed to feel. My results were horrendous according to my standards, but it was so much better than what I expected it to be, except maybe for Bio. I know some people really do care when they ask me about my grades, but some are just curious. I'm really open about my grades so if you want to know, you can just ask me personally. Did really really bad for GP and it killed my overall. Got 68.75 for my overall Rank Point and I don't think I can get anywhere safely in the locals. Hopefully I can squeeze my way into SMU's business even though its 10th percentile is a BBB/B. Please shortlist me for interviews!! I promise to do my best. Learnt my lesson from O`s and A`s. I won't let history repeat itself. No. Never again.

Went to SMU's open house yesterday and I really love how the school curriculum works. But I've decided that I'm not gonna take Econs, even over my dead body. Only 5 minutes into the Econs talk and I couldn't help but to whip out my phone to tweet.

I'm at a loss of what course to do other than business. Thinking of Info System Management but heard from a senior that it's really hard and it involves alot of computer coding. Maybe I'd survive doing it as a 2nd major, but not a degree. Just have to apply, pray and hope for the best.

Potato Facial!

I know this may sound so stupid because the first time I heard from my colleague my reaction was like "ARE YOU SERIOUS?????' But potato facial actually works!!

Potatoes have lotssssssssss of vitamin A, beta-carotene (oh here comes Bio again dammit) and antioxidants. NATURAL ONES. It softens your skin and moisturise them like nobody's business and you'll feel so damn freaking fresh. Potato removes excess oil and all those oil clots (I really don't know what they're called but we call it 油泡 in chinese) will instantly reduce in size.

There are a few ways of doing the potato facial and I'm doing the one that is the least time consuming in just 5 steps!

Step 1: Pin up your fringe if you have any. You don't want any potato juice on your hair right?

Step 2: Get a potato! Mine's halved because my sister and I used the other half previously. You don't have to finish a whole potato every time, just a few slices will do. Store it in a clear plastic bag (perhaps from NTUC?), tie it up and put it in the fridge. Cut away the outer layer because it would have dried up the next time you wanna do this.

Step 3: Cut a small slice of potato (mine's usually less than half a cm). If the slice of potato runs out of moisture, you can always have another slice.

Step 4: Rub the potato all around your face in any way you want! You can choose to rub on places with pimple and oil clots more extensively (:

When you're done, you'll see that the slice of potato will have many lines/creases/wrinkles. This is because your skin has already absorbed all the moisture.

Step 5: Leave on the potato juice for a 15-20 minutes for the skin to absorb the moisture/vitamin and rinse your face with lukewarm water. You can also apply toner because there will be open pores

This is a picture of before and after. Can't really tell the difference between the skin because my camera isn't thattttt good. But the redness of the pimple has obviously subsided and the size has been reduced!

You can also cut a new slice of potato into half (the thinner the better as it tends to stick more easily to your skin) and use it as eye mask. It'll reduce the puffiness of eye bags and also lighten dark circles in the long run ^^

Gonna try doing avocado hair mask later, or maybe next week if I'm too lazy. Hope it turns out well! Bye!
